X-Plane 11 is a flight simulator developed by Laminar Research. The X-Plane 11 package is packed with several commercials, military, and other aircraft as well as global scenery which covers most of the earth. The plugin architecture of X-Plane 11 allows you to create your own modules, thus extending the functionality of the software by allowing you to create your own world or replica places on Earth. Furthermore, scenery gateway allows you to share airports with other users and eventually many airports are included by default in the base project.

X-Plane 11 simulator differentiates itself from the other simulators through implementing an aerodynamic model called Blade Element Theory. X-Plane is more advanced flight simulator of all the times.

One thing to note before attempting any of the keyboard control commands is to ensure that your Numbers Lock is OFF as having it on will not allow the use of the arrow keys, which as you might imagine are repeatedly used in the GENERAL actions. Once you have familiarized yourself with the specific keys for specific actions they will surely become second nature. Regardless of how you use this particular add-on, it is one that appeals to all levels of users.

You can view the commands and download the PDF file here. With new freeware releases coming out all of the time created by dedicated developers we are sure the update of this article will yield some even more detailed and high-quality add-ons.

We are also noticing a shift in our users moving over to X-Plane as their main simulator. Don't forget, these are only a selection of 10 of the add-ons we have in the file library.

I have flown the training flights in the air on numerous occasions and is very impressed with the scenery and I also have payware scenery that is also compatible with XP!

I too tried installing X-Plane 11 and found it to be frustratingly difficult to start and Oh so slow It is not intuitive and I guess one would have to learn a lot about the Operating System before being able to do anything constructive and simple like finding yourself, by default, on an airstrip, with a plane and able to simply fly off and land. Far too many set-up procedures before use.

In the end, I found myself bored and uninstalled the whole damned thing. You need to find a way to simplify the ab-initio setup so people can start to at least find something useful to do from 1st installation, rather than weave their way through a complicated load of presets before the interesting parts are enjoyed. A shame really because the graphics look tremendous. It is a good sim with regard to some features but to much vague stuff to learn. Scenery is very disappointing and sparse and having to add the libraries is a pain.

To each their own but I have gone back to P3D. I've been using FSX "gold edition" and I think it works well. I'd tried the "steam edition" but I didn't note any difference. Why you all ask? Well, I hated all of the Military Aircraft that was added to the program and I had the add-ons that were needed, so, why not? If anyone tells you it doesn't they are wrong! R 8GB in my 3d slot. R 8GB in my last slot. No bridge between the Cards is needed. I tried X-PLANE a few times myself, but after spending a few hundred dollars, and having lots of problems trying to get my joystick to work with it, I gave up and just junked it.

I would like a more realistic air traffic control. FSX is better and more easy to use. Things like repeating the whole call sign after the first contact is very distracting. This moded aircraft shows what are the possibilities of this plugin and Xplane Thanks to Fay , twkster and others for help with test and improved plane.

And thanks to audiobirdxp for amazing sound, models and textures for this plane, DrGluck for TerrainRadar plugin with drawing distance circle for FIXs green dashed circle and Vertical situation on ND, flightdeck2sim for feedback and great video tutorials.
