Here is what I did. That way we can see what version and date you are are on. Also for both monitors are you using Displayport dp cable on each monitor or are you doing HDMI for one and dp for the other?
I believe that there has been a new driver release since the last time we spoke. Could you attempt a clean install of the latest drivers? Which display is dropping out when the issue occurs? I just did a clean install for the gpu drivers and uninstall dragon center, now I'll just wait and see what happens. The 'r' was a typo on my end. But we need to see what bios version you are on.
Also have you updated your meg z ace chipset drivers? About the Bios update do I need to install each one individually or just the last one? I just installed the last one. If so, try these steps. Use the link below, download and install your chipset drivers "intel Chipset Drivers. Just click on the down arrow and execute the installation file, follow the installation wizard instructions.
Once its installed, then test your system, watch YouTube or try to get the monitors to give you no signal. Basically try to replicate your issue after the chipset driver. Don't worry about how the graphic card is performing, you are just testing how your system is functioning after the chipset driver update.
Launch a game as well. Read these instructions first on how to update your bios. You'll need a usb thumb drive as well. Finish out the BIOS update steps from the link. I moved your thread to Sales since it's more appropriate for that category. We will have RTX cards available on release day, but they will probably sell out immediately.
We've had a lot of talk about people showing up very early to stores to get in line and claim one. Do you have any idea what AIB cards will be available and what brands? Curious about getting there early and being far up in line, but having people who bought online have priority over me. They're first come first served. Unfortunately we won't know individual stock until tomorrow when listings start to go up.
Any cards we have available will display on the website. I have my build picked out for the most part and would love some input on my part choices if anyone has suggestions for parts that would be better suited for a build.
But I'm open to all suggestions. Here is my build so far that I've put together. Let me know what you think! Love all the Corsair stuff, i'm a big Corsair fan.
No real changes I would make besides considering if you need the thermal paste. The thermal paste is already pre-applied to the Corsair AIO and it's pretty good. You will only need to reapply if you are changing CPUs or reseating the cooler.
I personally use all SSDs for daily driving. HDDs are for backups. Get a main drive, then expand from there depending on your needs and organization. For the thermal paste I sorta do recommend getting your own, but only if it's thermal grizzly, the included stuff is plenty otherwise.
Having extra never hurts in case you put something on wrong and need to fix it and reapply! For the motherboard, do you really want wifi? Wifi is real bad for gamering if you want to play pvp stuff. I have that same corsair cooler, and, welll I think I would consider 1. It depends on how much you care about trying to overclock and learn all that if not, the h is fine. These are great sticks, been using them for years.
Unless you want to go higher speed. RGB is overrated! I don't really intend on overclocking this machine. I don't know much about it and with what I'm putting in this computer it seems plenty powerful enough for the gaming I'll be doing on it.
Like you said if I'm not overclocking the H should be good so I think I'll be ok. I do agree RGB is overrated! It's pretty crazy how huge some titles have gotten. Build looks pretty good overall. Only thing I'll say is that if you're not planning on overclocking at all, getting one of the k-series CPUs is kind of pointless. There's a reason they're unlocked! The k does have higher boost clocks at stock settings but it won't make a drastic difference.
I guess I'm not totally against overclocking it so I'll stick with the K series in case I do want to overclock at some point.
So if I do decide to overclock will the H cooler be enough? What type you ask? Let's discuss. I've played a great deal perhaps even most of the AAA titles out there. It would take a great deal of effort to remember everything I've played, suffice to say, I'll just post a little of what I'm looking for and you peoples can chime in if you desire with the recs.
I'm currently playing Guild Wars 2 though this has been an in-between since I've played SO much these last few weeks. Stuff like that. I realize that this inquisition is difficult to deliver on since I've played a great deal of the games available with my requested features. Part of me is considering re-purchasing Skyrim or Fallout 4 and just playing with mods though I've never done this before What do you guys think?
Can anyone help? I don't mind indie games. Graphics don't have to be the best so long as the game itself is prime. Thanks for reading my girthy first post! Love, Me. OsaX Nymloth Community Contributor. Jan 29, 1, 2, twitter. Fallout 1 and 2 aka the only True Fallouts yes, I can't stand what Bethesda did to the brand if you never played them.
Works fine with widescreen mod. Reactions: Mazer , MedicalMagus , Frindis and 1 other person. Thank you for the discussion and recommendations! I started looking into some of them whilst watching Deadpool 2. A lot of them look promising though I notice a lot are similar to that of Diablo-esque games. While those are fantastic I suppose I'm looking for more of those like you mentioned in that 2nd list in terms of aRPG's, I'm currently playing Grim Dawn, fun stuff.
Some of those I've played but you did remind me of Hand of Fate which I remember from Xbox and I'm gonna go buy that tonight cause it's great. Do any of those you mentioned give you the ability to roam freely and enjoy a sense of independence such as those games I previously mentioned? Fallout, Outerworlds, Kingdom Come, Elderscrolls.
Keep 'em comin'! Jan 17, 1, 3, 12, Reactions: MedicalMagus. Frindis Moderator. Jan 14, 1, 2, 9, Metro Exodus and the Thief series might be to your liking. Right on, guys! I added a bunch of these recommendations to my wishlist. Some of these I've played and completely forgot about! I remember playing Arcania on Xbox but I put Gothic 3 in my wishlist because it sounds like it might be neat. Horizon Zero looks neat but isn't out until next month it looks like.
I remember playing Thief and enjoying that as well so I put that in the list as well. During that Summer sale I was trying to decide between Mount and Blade 2 and Mordau, I went with the latter because I thought it might be more to my liking. I played the original Metro and purchase Metro Redux haven't played it yet but Exodus looks like it's much more in depth, neat!
